Machining
While busbars and structural components are typically formed or stamped, many final connection features, such as pins, holes and connector interfaces, require precision CNC machining for accuracy and repeatability. Connor’s machining capabilities meet tight tolerance requirements for mechanical interfaces, electrical contact points, and mounting features across a wide range of copper, aluminum, and steel components. This is especially critical in EV systems, where terminal flatness, torque control, and contact integrity affect overall reliability. Connor integrates CNC milling and drilling into our vertical production flow, enabling us to deliver ready-to-assemble busbars, brackets, and housings that meet both electrical and mechanical standards.
- Custom connector bodies requiring tight tolerance, alignment, or clean bore geometry
- Used selectively for high-precision features where stamping is insufficient
- Maintains surface flatness and contact integrity at mating points
- Integrated with forming, molding, or assembly for efficient part flow
